Alice in Whisperland

EXPO 2010

Alice in Whisperland Alice in Whisperland

12” tall – from head to toe.
Alice is cast using the finest baby tone resin.
Alice’s’ wig is reminiscent of a time gone bye and is hand made
using strawberry blonde Tibetan lamb hair, her hair style is braided on the sides and pulled back into a curly tail, garnished with a sweet powder blue bow.

Eyes are made out of glass and acrylic.
The color is achieved by Joe’s own special formula.
A clear lens is applied to enhance the depth of field and give
the natural vivid look and expression.

Alice is double-jointed;
she has 21 points of articulation making her poses extremely human like.

The sweet fresh sun kissed skin-tone is achieved by the application of different layers of Genesis® paint. Details of the hairs on the eyebrows and bottom eyelashes are painted one by one using an 18-0 brush and fine technique to achieve a natural look.
Top eyelashes are hand made to scale
trimmed and inserted to compliment and give the final touch to the face up.

The lips shade and color is achieved by using different tones of red and glazes.

The hands and feet are sculpted in a very delicate manner
paying extra attention to detail on fingernails and toenails.
Each nail has been individually hand painted to portray a natural look.

Alice’s precious ensemble is a 100% cotton.
The springtime trim on the dress is a printed design
a friendly reminder of her friends in Whisperland.

A sheer black petticoat embellished with silver glitter that sparkles beneath her dress also matches her long stockings all the way down to her gorgeous
Mary Jane hand crafted black shoes.
Shoe straps are magnetic, for easy removal
and display a mini swarovski  crystal on the buckle.

Alice’s trusted companion Sir McGiggles is nestled is Alice’s safe arms he is crafted using the softest and cuddliest material.  His ears, arms and legs are fashioned using 100% Egyptian cotton.  Sir McGiggles the rabbit is a stickler for time so he is always wearing his  gold plated watch, the face and back of the watch is coated with fine acrylic to mimic glass, fine detail on the watch include Roman numerals on one side and the movement on the other side.  Available exclusively at
