Neona "Goddess of the Moon"

My vision of Neona is a continuation of the Royal family tree in the Whisperland realm of Fairies.  
As Goddess of the Moon, Neona is in charge of making sure that the proper cycle of the moon is on target.
Neona is the Royal sister of Shaylee “Queen of the Forest” winner of International Professional Doll Category 2008 .
  Her pale skin radiates in the evening moonlight.
  Neona is featured in this vignette sitting and talking to the ancient moon.
The moon is illuminated by a series of LED’s.
  This is possible by casting the moon in a Roto-Cast machine, making the inside hollow. 
Neona is cast in the finest skin-tone resin, face up and body blushing is accomplished using Genesis™ color
and my own secret technique to produce a soft glow porcelain body.
Her eyes are hand blown glass, the jewelry is hand made and plated in silver. 
The top of her gown is handcrafted using micro silver beads.
The lower section of the gown is fashioned using chameleon golden purple sheer fabric. 
All jewelry and bodice is further enhanced by the application of miniature genuine Swarovsky™ crystals.
Mohair is curled individually strand by strand. 
Her wings are hand made and hand painted over a diachronic film.
The base is hand crafted in wood and glass and hand painted to create the exquisite look of a fine green marble.
The base is also equipped with a mister – giving the illusion that Neona is floating.
The whole sculpture stands 36” tall.
